The last three months have been a cyclone.

I’m not complaining-  It’s a happy business.

But, during this time, Critters and Crayons has been bestowed several bloggy honors and I haven’t had a chance to properly thank the bloggers or to fulfill my duties to rightfully receive such honors.

I’m wrapping it all up into a single post.  Now, let’s go to it.

A few months ago, Critters and Crayons was nominated for The Versatile Blogger Award.  And we just got our sixth nomination a couple of days ago.  Oh, keep ‘em coming.  The Critters And Crayons Blog loves gold stars!  :)

Versatile Blogger Award

According to this award, I’m supposed to link back to the original bloggers and also highlight my fave 15 blogs. Will do.   Let me just say, I LOVE all of the blogs who nominated C&C for this award.

Then, Critters and Crayons received The Sunshine Award from  Danielle of Raising Little Rhodies.  She also writes one of the most inspirational blogs I’ve ever happened across called Happy Being Trevy.  I was meandering about the internet one night and I stumbled on this blog.  It will bring you to tears to read about the family’s joureny with catastropic epilepsy.  Danielle’s site is a resource for other families and is as honest and bright-spirited as it could possibly be.  It touched me deeply.   Thanks, Danielle!

Then, from The Valentine 4:  Living Each Day, Critters and Crayons received The Liebster Blog Award.  Requirements pretty much resembled those of the Versatile Blogger Award.

And a couple of days later, Mommy’s Minions passed on the “Tell Me About Yourself” Award! 

For this one, I’m supposed to tell you seven interesting things about myself and to also pay homage to 15 of my fave blogs.  Will do.  And, thank you, Mommy’s Minions!

Finally, yesterday, one of my new fave blogs, The Happy Logophile, nominated Critters and Crayons as one of her Weekly Top 5 and passed on the Kreative Versatile Blogger Squared Award.  It seems Jo of The Happy Logophile had received several awards herself over the last weeks!  (And most deservedly, she did.)

SO, HERE ARE THE THINGS ABOUT ME THAT FULFILL THE REQUIREMENTS OF ALL THESE AWARDS:

    • Mike- I’m honored you like the format. I don’t want anyone to ever be offended I’m grouping the awards together, but I’ll never finish my laundry if I write all the posts individually! haha! Yes, yes- the acceptance is kind of blog etiquette, I think. :)

  9. Yay! Thanks for the mention Trish. Early Christmas gift!
    I will be silent for the next two weeks though, we will be vacationing at dear husband’s hometown. I’ll see if I can share some of my experience and see how fast the speed of the internet there. I wish you a very Merry Christmas! Enjoy the holidays with your family!

    At first, I was like, awesome, she listed me as one of the blogs.
    Then, I was like, oh no, wait, so I’m going to write a post for all of those awards?
    Then, I was like, duh, that’s why she created the all-encompassing blog button.
