When Parents Are Lucky Enough To Be Present When Our Kids Reach Milestones,
It Puts A Lot Into Perspective.

Some Things Are Just More Important Than Other Things.

Some Moments Are Worth Lots Of Exploding Fist Bumps,

Celebratory Dances,

Goofy Shouting On Videos,

And Happy-Proud Tears.

In Those Moments,

We Remember What Is BIG,

And What Is Not.

The dishes in the sink,

The laundry in the basket,

The dust on the bookshelf,

That e-mail, that text, that post…

They’ll all be waiting.

They’ll all be back.

The Rarest,

Most Special Moments

  1. My twins just learned to ride a bike too, and it was such a happy moment because you knew they felt so proud of themselves when they did it! And you’re right, there were no worries about making dinner or laundry in that moment!

  2. My mother is 84, am 54, she remembers all the mile markers of her three children without fail. The good shtuffs, and unfortunately the not so good shtufffs (but but I was an angel).
